Jana Reinhardt Duck Pendant Necklace

27 November 2021 by Eileen

Little ducks can be so naughty (famous children song – five little ducks), but they are nothing more than adorable loving little creatures! They love to wander off to explore the world. Now the wife and husband team is bringing you a carefully curated selection of delightful duck jewellery for you to choose from. Besides their sweet little duck, they have a huge collection of animal jewellery to choose from.

Jana Reinhardt Duck Pendant Necklace review

Award-winning master goldsmiths Jana Reinhardt and her husband Ross Cutting are both passionate about hand-making jewellery, as well as their concerns for animal welfare and green living. Did you know that all their pieces are made from 100% recycled precious metals? Even every gemstone is ethically sourced or lab-grown and their packaging is 100% recyclable and plastic-free!

This duck pendant necklace from Jana Reinhardt is part of their amazing collection that is intended to raise awareness and funds for charities that help drought-affected countries in Africa (International Tree Foundation), The Sloth Conservation Foundation and orangutans (OVAID), among others. Not only that, but they also aim to produce a different piece each month which will then benefit different animal welfare or environmental charities. What an amazing cause!

Being a mama duck is hard work plus keeping track of all their ducklings! I am quacking with joy that this little duckling is in safe hands will stay with me! This lovely necklace is made from precious metals 925 Sterling Silver. You can also purchase it in 9ct, 18ct solid gold or platinum and prices start from £85 onwards.

The tiny hand-polished duckling measures 7mm by 7mm. It is rather petite, but it still looks cute and has a good definition. It comes with a chain and fastens with a 5mm spring ring. The chain comes in two lengths, which can be adjustable to either 41/46 cm or 52/57cm long if you prefer a longer pendant necklace.

This necklace is packed in a well-presented sturdy box and comes with a handwritten note to the recipient. The necklace is carefully placed on a small display board and protected in a small cloth bag (It is best to place it in a plastic bag to protect the silver). This will make a great gift this Christmas or any other occasion! To find out more about this necklace and the rest of the collection, please visit https://www.janareinhardt.com!
