IKICH 4 slice toaster Review

6 August 2020 by Eileen

Love your bread toasted? Why not check out this sleek slim-looking IKICH 4 slice toaster that is big enough to toast all your delicious odd-shaped bread! Not only that, but you can also heat up your yummy muffins, sandwiches and teacakes!

IKICH 4 Slice Toaster Review

This compact silver toaster stands out in the kitchen. It has a matt finish which is great to avoid having to constantly clean off fingerprints from it. On the front panel, it comes with three buttons, cancel, reheat and defrost. The cancel button can be pressed any time to stop toasting. The reheat button will heat up your toast that has cooled or gone cold. The frozen bread button will extend the toasting time to allow the bread time to defrost.

It has a long and thin design, and its large slots mean it can fit slices of bread that are more awkward shaped like a long panini. It also comes with a warming rack like for warming pastries by lifting the side lever!

The browning control comes with an easy to rotate knob with settings from 1 to 6. This is how white bread looks with the browning setting on 2, 3, 4 and 5. For setting 2, it took one minute and thirty seconds and setting 4, it took two minutes and 30 seconds to toast.

I am using Hovis bread here, which are perhaps slightly more rectangular than other loaves. As you can see, some areas, especially on the top are not toasted. This toaster will suit smaller sized bread than the regular loaves sold in UK supermarkets. You can place the bread on the side which means you can only toast two slices of bread instead of four slices. So it depends if you want to have two or four slices of toast.

This toaster comes with one long removable crumb tray for easy cleaning. There are non-slip feet on the base of the toaster which helps keep it steady. Also, the internal cord storage helps keep your worktop tidy.

I have made a video review on this toaster where you can see all the features of this toaster: https://youtu.be/GyGBeoQIe-M

I love how quick the toaster heats/toasts the bread and the sleek look fits into the modern kitchen. You can purchase this toaster on Amazon.
