Listen up! Especially kids from the 80s to 90s or any current or old Dragon Ball mega-super fans, for the first time ever, Dragon Ball licensed toys are available in the UK for the kids’ and toy market. The range includes everything from super-sized Limit Breaker figures to mini-blind bag collectables!
Growing up in the 80s, Dragon Ball is one of many manga anime series I watched through my childhood as typically anime would be on the TV every Saturday afternoon and also available via comic books. It is one of the most successful manga and anime series of all time.
Forget about my kid’s excitement, I was thrilled to receive these fantastic Dragon Ball toys from Bandai: Limit Breaker Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, Super Saiyan Gohan and two mini-blind bag collectables.
I love this Super Saiyan Blue Goku from the Limit Breaker figures. This figure stands at 30cm and features a show-inspired design. He also comes with five points of articulation. I love all the detailed features. He is very realistic! He is everything you need to re-create epic battle scenes. There are four characters to collect: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Frieza.
Next, we have two characters from the all-new Dragon Stars range which are the Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta and Super Saiyan Gohan. Both are highly detailed 17cm figures and have 17 or more points of articulation that can be posed in over 9,000 positions! Each figure comes with a second set of hands and/or accessories.
For this range, there are more to collect like Goku, Gogeta, Bardock, Piccolo, Broly, and Krillin. They are ideal for acquiring one by one to build a bigger collection and great for playing with because of their articulation. They are great value for money and I would recommend them.
Last but not least, we have the mini-blind bag collectables which come with a 5cm super collectable figure. There are 10 Dragon Ball Super characters to collect, plus a stand inside to display your Dragon Ball figure. Don’t you think they look so cool!
Anyway, they also have the premium quality Final Blast Super Saiyan Goku & Vegeta figures and Spin Battlers training packs to collect. There are 13 characters to collect in these packs and you can connect up to four of the battle stands to commence combat! There is also the Spin Battlers action pack that has eight characters to collect and comes battle-ready with two character figures and battle stands in each assortment. Lastly, the 12.5cm highly articulated, Evolve Action figures that include versions of Super Saiyan Broly, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta, and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku to Dragonball play. There is also a triple pack with all three characters available. They will be extending the Evolve collection – Golden Freeza, Goku Ultra Instinct, and Jiren action figures which will be available to buy from May 2020. The brand new Dragon Ball range is available at Smyths, Argos, B&M and Game now!
