Astonish Review

5 February 2020 by Eileen

Astonish, the British manufacturer of cleaning products, who was established more than 40 years ago, has just had its Oven & Grill Specialist Cleaner & Sponge announced as Household Cleaning Product of the Year 2020! This independent testing with more than 10,000 consumers felt that this product had outperformed all others in the market! We were thrilled to receive these amazing products!

Astonish review & giveaway

This specially formulated Oven & Grill cleaner comes with a carefully developed sponge. Once you open the lid, you will see the sponge along with the paste that was protected by a clear plastic cover. This carefully developed pot of paste has no harmful chemicals, is non-toxic and cruelty-free. As there are no harmful chemicals used in the products, there is no need to wear gloves at all. The paste contains orange oil that cuts through grease and grime. It also has additives to boost fat solubilisation and aids with the removal of burnt-on food residue. This product can even be used on the glass oven door. As I had cleaned the oven in preparation for Chinese New Year, my oven was fairly clean. Nevertheless, I will definitely test this out in due course.

Next, we have the Hob & Cooktop cleaner with essence of lemon and ginger which helps remove everyday burnt-on spills. It also comes with a sponge. This is ideal for use on enamel, ceramic or halogen hobs and cooktops. Again, the products do not contain harsh chemicals and so there is no need for gloves. The product is approved by Good Housekeeping Institute, the Vegan Society and Cruelty Free International.

Last but not least, the Cup Clean stain remover will work like magic to remove all those ingrained tea and coffee stains and restore heavily-stained crockery to spotless. Simply add one tablespoon of product to flasks or pots or half tablespoon per cup. Then add hot water and leave to cool for one to two hours to get rids of the badly-marked mugs and brown-ringed pots and flasks to mint condition. There is no need to scrub as the product will magically remove it away! This works on mugs, cups, teapots, coffee pots, plastic flasks, wine decanters and more, except sliver or aluminium.

Now Astonish is giving all these products above to one of my followers! Or you can get it from ASDA, Morrisons, The Food Warehouse, Ocado, Wilko and The Range.

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
