The Angry Birds Movie 2 is out in cinemas across the UK and Ireland! Have you watched it yet? We have! We managed to catch the first show of the day and we had so much fun! I love all the little humour that embellishes this movie. I won’t be revealing too many of the juicy details but this is definitely a great movie to take your children along to watch this summer!
In Angry Birds Movie 2, the flightless angry birds and the scheming green piggies are working together against a new threat to both Bird and Pig Island! Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), Bomb (Danny McBride), and Mighty Eagle (Peter Dinklage) recruit Chuck’s sister Silver (Rachel Bloom) and team up with pigs Leonard (Bill Hader), his assistant Courtney (Awkwafina), and techpig Garry (Sterling K. Brown) to forge an unsteady truce and form an unlikely superteam to save their homes.
The film is directed by Thurop Van Orman with screenplay by Peter Ackerman and written by Eyel Podell & Jonathon E. Stewart. It is produced by John Cohen, and as well as the actors mentioned above, the film also stars Leslie Jones, Eugenio Derbez, Pete Davidson, Zach Woods, Dove Cameron, Lil Rel Howery, Nicki Minaj, Beck Bennett and Brooklynn Prince.
We were gifted a handmade The Angry Birds Movie 2 piñata which was filled with lots of chocolate eggs and coins! We were all super-excited! The piñata is a giant size yellow chick! Both of my children couldn’t wait to smash it! Watch it in cinemas now! You will love it too!
