Want to own a piece of FIFA world cup history? Then look no further! On the 4th April 2019, you can buy the Official History of the FIFA World Cup Book 2nd edition that was officially licensed by the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) from Carlton Books!
The contents have been revised and updated to include a full report on the outstanding FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia and also a new foreword from FIFA Present Gianni Infantino. This is an authoritative and comprehensive review of the 21 FIFA World Cups to have taken place since the inaugural tournament in 1930.
Mr C is a big football fan and he was thrilled to have this book to learn more about the history of the World Cup. It is packed with 750 stunning colour and black & white photographs, artwork, maps, exclusive interviews of the biggest stars of each edition, unique official documents and statistics. You can read the stories behind the scenes, as well as the events and the most famous incidents. It features the biggest stars and many previously unknown ones too, all with a unique global point of view.
This beautifully presented book is just perfect for him and great to keep on the bookshelf for referencing, especially to look back to some amazing tournaments. Therefore, I would recommend it. Containing 100,000 words, it’s quite a wordy book, and as such, the font size is quite small. So those with poor eyesight might want to use a magnifying glass with it. It is available to pre-order now via Carlton Books, good book stores and Amazon.
