As many Star Wars’ fans will know, this coming 25th May 2018 is the launch of Solo: A Star Wars Story film! It tells the tale of the time young Han Solo meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian. To celebrate the release of this Star Wars film, Posh Paws have launched a collection of Chewbacca (and other) Star Wars soft toys!
We were delighted to receive the 10” Chewbacca plush, 8” Chewbacca plush, 8” Yoda plush, R2D2 bag clip and Chewbacca bag clip! These are just a small range of Star Wars soft toys we managed to get! Do note that they also have other Star Wars characters including Stormtrooper, Porgs and Darth Vader! If you like plush, then you would like this Star Wars range!
This new film is centred on Han Solo but of course, not forgetting his best friend Chewbacca to back him up. If you have seen Last Jedi, you will know that, while Chewbacca waits for Rey as she continues to try and convince Luke to join the Resistance, he has a roast ‘bird’ on a stick. When he is about to eat the roast ‘bird’, a bunch of Porgs gather around and watch him. They appear to make him feel guilty for eating their own kind with their big round eyes, saying NO! I can’t wait for more funny moments from Chewbacca!
I have to say Chewbacca is not the best looking creature in the Star Wars’ films and expectedly, he is not the most adorable of all the plushes. This 10” Chewbacca plush is a good cuddly size and comes with a lot of brown shaggy fur with his iconic belt detailing. He does have a pair of beautiful blue eyes but his overgrown brown fur makes it difficult to see his eyes! He is a firm plush!
As for this 8” Chewbacca plush, he is much softer, cuddly plush that is easy and lightweight to carry him around in hand. He is my favourite, especially with his super soft fur!
Next, we have the 8” Yoda plush, which is much firmer than the 8” Chewbacca plush. His outfit is not removable. Does he give a menacing or charming look? You decide!
Last but not least, we have the 3” R2D2 and 3” Chewbacca bag clips! These will make your child’s school bag look super cool! Also, do check out our review on the Porg! You will definitely fall in love with Porg!
