Have you tried an Online Pharmacy before?
With the wealth of information available at our fingertips, everyone is using the power of the internet to understand their health issues, with some going further to buy prescription medication online too. As you know online shopping can be much easier than traipsing down the high street to find that the items you want are out of stock or the shop is closed! The ability to shop online is always available 24/7 which is very convenient for busy families!
Nowadays, you can get almost anything online from groceries, clothing, electricals and even takeaways! An online pharmacy is one of those that I have tried it before, especially for those health issues that I am too embarrassed to speak to the pharmacist about.
But many online pharmacies are unregistered, so buying from them is potentially unsafe. Anybody buying medicines from an online pharmacy should check if the pharmacy is legitimately registered with the GPhC and have met their standards. There are two ways of checking, first by clicking on the logo which should link to that particular pharmacy’s entry on the GPhC online register. Or by going directly to the GPhC website and searching their online registration.
If you look at Assured Pharmacy, you would notice that they have the EU common logo at the bottom of their page, which means the pharmacy is legitimately registered. This is very reassuring that they are an online pharmacy that you can trust. Also, all their medicines are UK sourced. Their doctor is regulated by the General Medical Council and pharmacists are regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council. Best of all, they offer a price promise guarantee and will refund the difference if you find the products cheaper elsewhere. They also offer free standard delivery.
The website is very easy to navigate and treatments are clearly shown. So if you have any embarrassing problem, do use their online doctor to check by answering their online questionnaires and get yourself sorted without having to book an appointment with the doctor!
Now back to my question, have you tried online pharmacies before? If so, what do you think about them? Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.
