Disney Charades Review

8 December 2015 by Eileen 233 Comments

Do you think you have what it takes to mime all the Disney characters in this Disney Charades game? This is an excellent update of a classic game but with a twist, making it ideal for gathering the whole family around the table this Christmas. It is available to buy on Amazon and other retailers at RRP £12.99.

The game is suitable for ages 6 and above and for 4 to 10 players. Inside this pretty tin box, it comes with 25 ‘I am’ cards, 25 ‘Who’ cards, 1 Blue die, 1 Red die, 1 timer and instructions.

The aim of the game is to win more points than the opposing team. If you play with younger children, you could go through all the cards to discover the characters and remember their names. Now spilt into two teams and select one team member to take on the role of the mime. Roll both the die and take a card from each pile ‘I am’ and ‘Who’. Look at the pictures that match the symbols on the dice, without showing their team. At the back of the ‘I am’ cards, there is the name of the movie printed. Say it out loud to your team members so that they could narrow down the characters you are trying to mine.

This is a quick and fun portable game that we can take out to play at a party for example. All children love playing this game and love to mime their favourite characters. Some may find it hard if they have not watched the movies before but at the same time, they will learn something new and may be inspired to go and watch the movie!

Check out our video review here to learn more about the game.
