In this game you must rely on your keen sense of observation and quick reflexes to get rid of all of your cards to win the game.
To play this game, the wooden Totem sits in the middle of the table and the cards are dealt evenly among the number of players. Then wait for players to reveal a matching pattern, before snatching it up by the player with the fastest reactions. The game should be played with one hand only. This game is all about speed and not strength. So try not to fight over the Totem.
We played this game between three children and three adults. The children were very quick! It took a trial run before everyone got the gist of the game. We did find that we had to refer back the instructions as we couldn’t remember what some of the cards meant. Some of the patterns on the cards look very similar and we often got caught out and grabbed the Totem in error. If you make such an error, you have to take any discarded cards of all the other players along with any cards in the pot.
We all enjoyed the game and had a lot of fun together. I would highly recommend this game.
