Prestige Saucepan Review

16 October 2015 by Eileen

Are you looking to create a retro style kitchen? Then look no further! Prestige have a new range of vintage kitchenware featuring classic designs and timeless styles with beautiful hues of blue or red. I have received this beautiful blue 19cm saucepan with tube handle and tube knob.

prestige 19cm saucepan

This saucepan is crafted from enamel coated steel which allows this pan to be light, easily cleaned and is scratch and stain resistant. I have been using it for three weeks daily and it still looks as new! I cannot believe how easy it is to wash the saucepan and it is very lightweight and solidly made.

Even though the saucepan looks quite small, in fact it is quite deep. It is big enough for me to cook up to four bowls are soup or two big packets of instant noodles! This is definitely the ideal size for two portions! It comes with a blue lid which slightly overhangs on the lip of the saucepan. The lid has a charming mini handle which is nicely sized for holding with my thumb and forefinger. Since this is metal though, do take care when holding the handle during cooking as it can get hot. I have been using it for almost three weeks and each time it hasn’t let me down. It is a dream to use and I love the design, colour and the shape. It is a very versatile pan.

Where some pans may suffer from the bottom of the pot getting burnt, I’ve had absolutely no problems with this Prestige saucepan. Even now it still looks brand new. It comes with a 12 month quality assurance and it can be used in a freezer or an oven. This is a particularly useful feature as all my old pots have plastic handles and are not suitable. I would definitely recommend the saucepan as it is great value for money and with a classic vintage design! It looks fabulous even in a modern kitchen.
