Fox’s Digital Movie with Movie of the Day app

18 August 2015 by Eileen

This summer from the 10th August 2015, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Eye Airports have teamed up to offer families the facility to download free purchased movies to their device ahead of their departures from upper South Terminal departure lounge of Gatwick Airport.

You will be connected via high speed wifi at Gatwick Airport which connects to Fox’s Digital Movie download page, and via the Movie of the Day app (free) which provides special offers on a selection of films each day.

Holidaymakers will also be able to purchase and download films from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s ‘Movies on the Move’ selection. There will be special offers on a variety of films every day, making it cheaper and easier to download family favourites including Penguins of Madagascar, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, How to Train Your Dragon 2, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief and more.

The Movie of the Day app (only available on the App Store) is simple to use and it give consumers a 24-hour window to buy a brand new movie at a discounted price of up to 70% off and add it to their iTunes library. The app will give you an overview of the content, synopsis, review etc. before you buy it via the App Store. It is currently available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany and France.

We had watched the Penguins of Madagascar at the cinema when it first came out and both of my children loved it! Now, watching it again on digital download, they both still remember how Skipper ate Cheetos and kept interrupting the wolf! Classic!

We had also watched the Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. Once again we enjoyed it so much! Early this year, we had reviewed the movie and had hosted a series of printables! If you want to read the review or get the printable to entertain your children, click this link!

So if you happen to travel to Gatwick this summer, do remember you can download the film using the free high speed internet! Also check out the Movie of the Day app for their daily flash sales! You can also share your experience through social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter, allowing friends the opportunity to see the latest flash sale and so they can download the app themselves!

Disclosure: We received the film codes to download for the purposes of writing this review however all thoughts and opinions remain our own. Images used with permission.
