Where’s My Cupcake? By Orchard Toys

15 June 2012 by Eileen

Where’s My Cupcake? by Orchard Toys is an educational game that emphasises table manners and learning to share while collecting and matching your cupcakes. It contains 10 different types of delicious cupcake cards (total of 40 cards), 4 different colour plate boards, 1 recipe board and 1 instruction leaflets. It is suitable for age 3+ for 2 – 4 players.

The objective is to collect the most cupcake cards on your plate board. When you are unable to match any face up cards on the table or your own pile, the player will check on other players’ plate board. If the other player already has it, you will ask that player.

Where's My Cupcake By Orchard Toys

“Would you like a cupcake?”.

That player should be encouraged to reply

“yes please” and “thank you”.

Both of my children aged 3 and 4 obviously love this game and we have played it countless times. They get so excited seeing the colourful cupcakes and have learnt different names for the different cupcake decorations. To make this game more interesting, I used my mini cupcake holder to lay the card for display. The quality of the cupcake cards are made from thick cupboard, easy to hold, smooth edges, bright and colourful.

After playing the game, Ms C is able to speak the whole sentence “would you like a cupcake?”. Besides matching the cupcakes, we also use the cupcake cards to play snap. Overall, I rated this 5 stars out of 5. It is another fabulous product by Orchard Toys. You can give it from Amazon or Orchard Toys website. You can see my another review for the Orchard Toys’ Tangram.
