This is my latest review for the Asmodee UK Blogger Board Game Club and we have received this roll-and-write Corinth game. This is a strategy board game where players take the role of traders from all corners of the Mediterranean Sea to Corinth to sell their goods during 4th century BCE. The Persian carpets, Cretan olive oil, Roman grapes, and Egyptian spices are highly prized by traders.
Shadows: Amsterdam Game Review
Shadows: Amsterdam is a real-time simultaneous competition between detective agencies where players are using pictures that contain intel to communicate within your own team. The game is for two to eight players and aged 10 and above.
We always love a co-operative game but this game is slightly different as you are not allowed to communicate with any kind of action at all. It all depends on how well your team members know how you might think!

Guinness World Record Challenges puts players knowledge about Guinness World Records to the test and challenges opponents to demonstrate some record-breaking skills using everyday household items! Are you brave enough to take up the challenge?
This board game is suitable for aged eight years and above, with two to five players. This game also requires you to provide your own household objects to play, like a smartphone, a 500ml bottle of water, socks, coins, paper clips, 5 pint glasses, A4 paper, teaspoons and a set of cards. Of course, if you are unable to get the items for your game, you can always pass the challenge card and get a new one.
7 Wonders Game Review – 1st Edition
7 Wonders is a strategy game where you build your city by gather resources, develop commercial routes, and affirm your military supremacy to become one of the seven great cities of the Ancient World to win the game.
This award-winning game has been around since 2010 and has been loved by many gamers. It is for aged 10 & above, and for two to seven players. I think that this game is nicer to play with at least three players rather than just two. For two players, there is an official two-player variant included in the instructions on page 7.

Stupid Deaths Review
Stupid Deaths celebrates the stupidest deaths over the centuries. This hilarious game challenges players to identify if the death is true or a made up story. Sounds too easy? It’s actually harder than you think. As a matter of fact, many people did die in utterly ridiculous ways, so can you guess, if the stories are myths or facts before the Grim Reaper catches up with you!
Monopoly Cheaters Edition
Who doesn’t like to cheat? I love that Monopoly are always looking for ways to improve the game and this time, I think they have nailed it! I do occasionally “bend the rules” for myself during a Monopoly game. Why would I want to pay rent or lose the game to my children!
Anyway, this Monopoly Cheaters Edition gives you a licence to cheat! How awesome is that! I am very impressed with this game. But not all of my family members love it. Ms C didn’t like the idea of cheating!
