Paper Cut Tulip & Flower Border

Last month, I blogged about the paper cutting Jack-O-Lantern and bat for a Halloween display. They are great as a banner. Today, I am cutting tulips and flower borders using the book by Kai Iwami called Paper Cut Planet.

Painting Chinese Lantern

Last week, Lichfield Mandarin Club were celebrating the Mooncake Festival. As I am in charge of the craft side, I decided to ask the children to paint a Chinese lantern. I first saw the Chinese lantern’s display in Chinatown while I was in Singapore last month.

Egg Box Lion Craft

In our summer activities A – Z letter L, we did two craft posts which is the egg box lion and egg box lion mask. This is how we did it. I had a few half dozen cardboard egg boxes laying around for a weeks which came in handy for this craft.
