Krafted Couch Wireless Sofa Charger Review

29 September 2026 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Love having your phone close at hand? The Krafted Couch is a cleverly designed wireless charger that drapes over the arm of your sofa, keeping your phone powered and within easy reach. You can scroll through social media, shop online or simply enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon without worrying about your phone running out of charge. It looks stylish, sits neatly over the sofa arm and helps keep cables out of the way.

The Couch is made by Krafted. The brand grew out of Brand Collective, founded in 2021 by Charlie Rudge and Vinal Patel after years of experience in product development and retail. Having helped other brands create products, they set out to make the technology they wished existed: thoughtful, useful and made to last. Today, Krafted brings together a team focused on designing more sustainable tech and changing how people think about technology.

The Krafted Couch comes in three colours: Deep Blue, Matcha and Latte. I tried the Latte version. Krafted recommends Deep Blue for grey, charcoal and neutral sofas, while Matcha suits natural, earthy or contemporary interiors. Latte blends easily with beige, cream, tan and lighter-toned furniture. Personally, I like a bit of contrast—so I paired the Latte pad with a red sofa!

It arrives in a neatly packed rectangular box. Inside, you’ll find the flexible silicone pad, measuring approximately 40 × 10 × 0.11 cm; a wireless charging module with a 2 m USB-C cable; and instructions. The charger works with iPhones and Android phones that support wireless charging. It is Qi2 certified and MagSafe compatible, with output of up to 15 W for compatible phones.

After charging for a while, both the pad and phone can get warm, so it’s something to keep in mind during longer charging sessions.

The pad is lightweight, slim and soft to the touch. Its non-slip silicone helps it stay securely in place over the sofa arm.

Setup is straightforward: place the charging module into the back of the silicone pad, plug it in, then set your phone on top. As is common with phone accessories, a charging adapter is not included, so I bought a fast-charging adapter from Amazon.

I use a Samsung Flip with a plastic case, and it charges well. Mr C’s phone works just as well. We haven’t had any problems, though very thick cases may affect charging.

I love how the Krafted Couch fits in with the sofa. It keeps my phone close by and charging, without the worry of it slipping off the arm. At £39.99, it’s a stylish and practical addition to the living room, and could make a lovely birthday or Christmas gift. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes keeping their phone within reach while relaxing on the sofa.
