Would you like to win a VIP tour of Swizzels factory in Derbyshire to see how your sweet inventions are made? This year, Swizzels celebrates 90 years of making sweets and they have just launched an amazing competition where you can win a tour of their sweet factory! This has echoes of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie!
Now what you need to do is come up with an idea for a brand new sweet! It could be anything you like! Things you can ask yourself: What will it taste like? Is it fizzy, fruity, sour or creamy; or is it soft and squishy or hard and crunchy? How should you eat it? Is it a lolly, a chew bar, a gum or a jelly? What shape will it be? Round, circle, triangle or maybe a hexagon! Also, what would you name it? You can even draw a design and upload that to the website. Be as creative and inventive as you can!
Then submit your sweet idea to their website and you could win a VIP tour of the factory and get to see your sweetie bought to life! Please do remember that to enter this amazing opportunity, you have to be over 16. The Swizzels judges will then shortlist four creations and then put it to the public vote. Good luck to all of you!
Thanks to Swizzels who have sent us this cute little starter kit to get our brain juice working! We have received a Swizzels apron, book, pen and lot of Swizzels to sweeten us up! Swizzels make so many amazing sweets like Drumstick Lollies, Refreshers, Double Dips, Rainbow Drops and Love Hearts. My favourite is always the drumstick lollies! I love that I can spend a long time chewing and enjoying the sweet.
If you asked me to invent my own Swizzels sweet, I would love it if they would add an exotic flavour of either mango or lychee in the Drumstick Lollies! I love fruity flavoured sweets and this would add a new dimension to the sweet! So what would you like to invent? Good luck with your entry! I am looking forward to seeing what the winner comes up with! Who knows, I might be the winner!
