Teksta Micro Pets Adventure Park Review

20 January 2017 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Teksta have launched these new generation micro pets that are smaller, more interactive and animated than ever before. These robotic pets don’t come much cuter than these miniature pets that respond to your touch and voice and can be trained on their playsets! The eyes light up and they run around and make cute noises.

This is the Teksta Micro Pets Adventure Park playset that comes with a cute micro raccoon and the playset transforms from a park to a wheel. It is suitable for aged three and above. There are four playsets (Raccoon, Dino, Kitty and Puppy) to collect and the playsets can join together to make one larger play world.

The raccoon comes with three 1.5V button cell batteries installed which can be replaced when they run out. The on/off button switch can be found on the back of the raccoon’s head. To preserve the battery life, you should always turn it off after playing.

This is the smallest Teksta ever and is no bigger than a fist. It loves to chatter and make fun sounds. It has a microphone on its neck for listening and he will start to chatter and walk. He is also able to interact with other Teksta pets. This raccoon is well made, with bright orange strips around his body.

Mr K did find it quite tricky to get the raccoon to obey his commands as it has a mind of its own. This is a clever pet though – when he moves forward and approaches a corner, he will move backwards. I do find that he does makes quite a loud noise, chattering and moving around the house. You won’t miss him, especially when he is coming near you! To program him to move only forwards, you hold the button on the top of his head until you hear a beep. Now he will move forward until you press the top button to reset it again. This is great for when the pet is on the running wheel.

The tracks are very straight forward to set up by clipping them together. Occasionally the tracks can be quite different to remove by children. Mr K enjoys commands and clapping at the raccoon and he is looking forward to play him again. This is definitely a great toy for children who loves Artificial Intelligence robots!
