Beefeater Festive Menu 2016 is here

4 December 2016 by Eileen Leave a Comment

As Christmas is drawing near, Beefeater has launched their Festive Menu to get everyone in the mood! Of course, you don’t always have to have Turkey, you can pick delicious salmon, succulent steaks and many more. There is also a Children’s Festive Menu too! Visit their website for your local Beefeater opening hours, make bookings and check for offers.

The place is very easy to access with a lot of parking and next to shopping areas with shops like Next, Boots, Matalan, Mark & Spencer, John Lewis At Home, Toy R Us etc. It is situated next to Premier Inn and has free Wi-Fi. When we arrived, we were shown to our table quickly and both children were given Mr Men colouring sheets.

beefeater festive menuWe love pub meals and an important factor for us is that they offer good value for money and a good choice of food for the children. I am very pleased that Beefeater has it all. The two courses meal is £15.99 or add an extra course for £19.49. As for children, it is £6.99.

For the starter, we both went for Classic Prawn Cocktails instead of the soup, mushroom or duck pate. It comes with fresh salad and two slices of bread & butter. It didn’t take long for us to finish the bowl clean!

beefeater festive menu steakI went for the grilled Salmon Fillet with prawn and lobster sauce. It is served with buttered potatoes and green beans. The salmon was well cooked and very juicy. It was a good piece of fish with a delicious, rich sauce. It didn’t take me long to finish it! I love that there other choices for everyone like the Red Pepper & Butternut Squash Tart, Roast Turkey with all the Trimmings and Double Steak Festive Burger.

beefeater festive menu puddingAs for the Children’s Festive Menu, it was limited to Roast Turkey with roast potatoes, peas, Yorkshire pudding, pig in a blanket and gravy for main. Individual Christmas Pudding served warm with custard or Vanilla ice cream with either chocolate or raspberry sauce.

The food was well cooked and delicious for both of my young children. Later, they went for ice cream for pudding. They both really loved it!

If you are still looking to book a place this December, why not pop down to your local Beefeater to try out their new Festive Menu. I would heartily recommend them to anyone. Don’t forget to sign up to their reward cards to collect points!

Disclosure: We have received part payment for the food from the PR. However, they have not paid me for this review, and they do not exercise any editorial control over my review or anything else on this site.
