Yesterday, we all went to Tesco to do our weekly shopping and to cook a nice Easter Sunday lunch.
We decided to have a lazy Sunday. Rather than going out for an Easter Egg hunt, we created one at home instead.
While the kids were hunting for the eggs, Mr C and I cooked up a quick fix lunch using Heinz sauces and soups. Without them, our food would be so plain. I was quite surprised to find so many Heinz products and found a couple unusual products like the Ploughman’s Pickle, Tomato Ketchup with Roasted Garlic, Thyme & Honey and Tomato Ketchup with Balsamic Vinegar, Basil & Oregano. Apparently there are actually 5,700 different products: Heinz 57 varieties.
While Mr C cooked steak seasoned with sea salt and freshly ground pepper and ribs in Heinz BBQ sauce in the oven, I prepared lettuce salad with added Heinz Salad Cream with Onion and Chives, Heinz Cream of Mushroom Soup with a Hint of Garlic, peas, fries and potato croquettes.
Mr C added Heinz 57 steak sauce to taste. This is also one of the unusual find of Heinz products that we found!
After we finished our meal, I popped in a Heinz chocolate pudding into the microwave to complete our Easter Sunday lunch. We were so full that we all had a nap after that.
